Small groups are one of the best ways to meet new people, form lasting friendships and grow in your faith at Amplify! Groups are typically comprised of 8-16 people and most weeks in the fall and spring to hang out and talk about life. Amplify Groups start back up in January with a life-changing study of Paul’s letters to the Galatians and the Ephesians. Galatians is, as Tim Keller puts it, “an explosion of joy and freedom.” It emphasizes how understanding and embracing God’s grace – His undeserved and unmerited favor – transforms every aspect of our lives. Ephesians is a letter written primarily about how to live a God-pleasing life. Both were written about 20 years after the death of Christ around AD 50 but are as relevant to us today as they were in the first century.
You will not need to purchase a book or a study guide, just bring yourself and a Bible. May God bless you as we study together!
There are also several specialty groups meeting at our Pittsburgh East campus, including groups for married couples, recovery-based groups, and more. Click the links below for a list of groups at each campus and to sign up!
Community Groups are demographically organized gatherings — typically a collection of small groups within that demographic — who meet monthly for either a social connect event or volunteer opportunities. These events are open to anyone who would like to attend, and we would love to have you! Fill out the form to find out more information regarding your community group and their upcoming event!
